We started at 2:30 pm at.our hotel. We got picked up by boat because our hotel was nearby.
We took a ride along the canal, where we could... read more spot a lot of different birds. It was great to see how people live there.
After that we went to the lagoon and the national park. That was even more beautiful! We saw a monkey family and a lot more birds.
The operator was really nice, he brought us drinks and fruit. He even speaks very good German!
Best day, we had so far here in Sri Lanka!
